Flower explained
Flower is the dried, cured bud of the cannabis plant. It is the classic product people smoke or vaporize. Flower labels usually show THC %, THCa %, CBD %, total cannabinoids, terpene percentages, harvest date, and batch information.
What shoppers compare
- Appearance: density, trim, visible trichomes, and moisture.
- Aroma: terpene expression and freshness.
- Label: cannabinoids, terpenes, harvest/package date.
- Experience: how it feels for you, not just the strain name.
Flower math
If flower is 25% total THC, then 1 gram contains about 250 mg total THC before normal losses. A half gram is about 125 mg. A quarter gram is about 62.5 mg.
